In Mesopotamia they used to make they’re living by following wild animals and wild berries nuts and grains to eat then they discovered they could plant and harvest food they called they also found out how to keep they’re own animals.  Mesopotamia is between two rivers Tigris and Euphrates the wind drops soil on crops from mountains.  They’re animals give them milk cheese and meat and they eat fish from rivers.  They made gates from the river when they’re crops needed water they would just open the gate.  They invented writing they wrote on clay tablets they made laws and the wheel each city state has its own king they build bricks out of clay they made wool out of sheep in Sumer you can be a potter, fisherman, musician and many more.  They’re religion is to believe in 7 gods earth sky, sun, moon, saltwater , freshwater, and wind gods.  They’re king decides who farms, scribes keep records on clay tablets about major things that happen in Sumer.  Every family or individual family is taxed to pay for the armies, buildings, and defenses.
